A Typical Day at Club

Here's how a typical day at Club 21 goes...

We get to the library (where Club 21 meets) at 3:45, and we immediately start our homework. We call this time Overture. During this time, we have snack, get homework help, study, read, and sometimes we have other activities we can work on independently.

Opening Act is at 4:10. We "circle up" and sit in a circle on the carpet. We go over any Club 21 news, talk about how our days went, etc.

From 4:20 to 5 we complete a learning activity or project facilitated by a certified teacher. This is called Act 1. From 5 to 5:45 we choose from a variety of activities, and we call this Act 2. Students usually lead these activities.

Curtain Call is at 5:45. We make sure our learning environment is in order and complete any outstanding tasks (see our "Cast List", which is basically our job chart, below).

We take the bus home at 6, and all clubbers are home by 6:45.
